Tabitha Ward attended the American Institute of Clinical Massage in Post Falls, Idaho after following the advice of friends and family to follow her passion for massage that she had exhibited since the age of six. Tabitha graduated in 2004 and has provided the gift of massage to clients in Idaho, California, and Oregon for over a decade. She has worked in several high end spas providing luxurious treatments to travelers local and far. She continues to follow her bliss and is a founding member of Harmony Doulas, a network of birth coaches and birth professionals. Tabitha has helped over 100 families through the birth process, from: education, to massage, to birth and photography. Birth Love Photography seeks to capture those fleeting moments when infant and parents are most beautiful and delicate. She also passes down her techniques and wisdom to the next generation of massage therapists at Central Oregon Community College.
Kelly Ward began falling in love with massage while seeking its beneficial stress and structural relief. After years of being a massage junky, Kelly finally sent himself to school at Utah College of Massage Therapy graduating with honors in 2001. After a year working at a high end spa in Sun Valley, Idaho, Kelly moved to Hollywood where he managed and trained massage therapists. Once meeting his wife to be, Kelly and Tabitha packed their bags for Bend, Oregon. Beginning work at Shibui Spa in Sisters, Tabitha and Kelly soon opened a thriving practice in Bend. Kelly draws from his years of experience as an athlete, educator, manager and therapist to customize treatments to match any goal. A passionate educator, Kelly has been teaching Swedish massage and hydrotherapy at Sage School of Massage since 2007.
Jordan Hasse became familiar with the healing power of massage as a young girl suffering from migraines. The only treatment that was effective in taking her migraines away was her grandmother’s neck and scalp massage. After her grandmother’s death, she was inspired to pursue a career in massage therapy to share its healing benefits. Jordan was received her training through the massage therapy program at Central Oregon Community College in August of 2016, and continued her training to receive her Associates degree in massage therapy. She has training in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Techniques, Sports Massage and Tai Foot Reflexology. To help sharpen her skills to effectively find the client’s problem she has focused training in clinical assessment and preventative care for athletic Injuries. Jordan is a very enthusiastic therapist and is eager to help clients reach and retain their goals.
Jesse Slater was born in California’s beautiful Lake Tahoe area. Growing up Jesse received a lot of massage which both healed and inspired him to make massage therapy his life’s work. Moving to Bend, he enrolled and graduated from Central Oregon Community College with an applied science degree in massage therapy. Jesse has studied Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, shiatsu, and Thai foot reflexology. Eager for more instruction, Jesse traveled to Thailand and spent a month studying at a traditional Thai massage healing center based in Chiang Mai. Doing so allowed him to return to the states with over 150 hours of Thai massage experience added to his arsenal, along with the knowledge offered to him from a number of different Thai instructors. Jesse is a strong, goal oriented therapist who is eager to assist his clients with reaching their goals for their body. Jesse brings passion, intuition and the deep specific pressure of a veteran therapist to his work.
